i also wanted to say that i think the photograph is really great. i just can't get over that lens flare right on the person's head. i want to know how you took the photograph to understand how that lens flare is there. the lights in the backround extend in straight lines. they aren't round as normal lights tend to be. did you use some kind of filter? or did the lights show up like this unaltered? if it is unaltered, that is an extrodinary caputure of light, and i guess there is just nothing you can do about that and its contrasting with a circular lens flare. its just weird how there is that circular lens flare but the light extends in straight lines almost.
the photo is truely amazing though, as you are right, you can't tell it is a concert shot until you understand what the picture is. so, it makes you pause, and think for a second, which is what all photographs should do.

The lens flare occured because i have a small chip in my lens and if i shoot with the light source directly in front then i will usually get some flare. I can see how much and where the flare is positioned in the viewfinder. As for the lights they were just a specific type of stage light that creates those straight lines.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
